the golden thread directory is the thing we wish we’d known about when we were first starting therapy.

often, when looking for a healer or therapist, it is almost impossible to know where to start – a Google search can land you in the most random of places, and it’s often hard to know who to trust. we created the Golden Thread as a network of trusted healers who are aligned with holistic values - meaning, they honor the fact, now well-researched, that the mind, body, and spirit are all connected.

on the directory, you will find a spectrum of healers: some who align more with conventional (to the west) models of healing and therapy, some who are quite esoteric in their approach, and some who strike a balance between scientific and woo woo and fall somewhere in the middle.

essentially, this is a network of healers and teachers that have looked beyond the clinical paradigm of the last century to hold well-being holistically (meaning, considering the mind-body-spirit axis), as humans have since ancient times.

this directory is slowly built, one referral at a time, through a mycelial network of trust; and each member signs off that they meet our directory standards.

our hope is that the directory healers, along with all of the other resources listed in the library and on The Muse, serve as a gentle invitation to come home to yourself and remind you that you are not alone on your human journey. As you come home to yourself, everyone around you can begin to as well, and we can begin to heal our broken world.
